Confidentiality
All of my counselling work is confidential. This means that
everything disclosed to me stays with me. The only exception to this
would be if I am made aware of a significant risk of harm to you or
another person(s), or a child protection issue. If such a situation
arises I will make every attempt to work with you on the matter.
Professional Memberships
I am an Accredited member of the British Association for Counselling
& Psychotherapy (BACP). As such I am bound by its Ethical Framework for
Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy and subject to the
professional conduct procedure therein.
(Click

I am also a member of the British Association for the Person Centred
Approach (BAPCA) and the Counselling Code of Conduct (CCC).
Supervision
As required by BACP Ethical Framework I meet regularly with my
supervisor. S/he is a more experienced counsellor who is qualified to
supervise counsellors. These meetings ensure that I am working within
ethical boundaries. I may occasionally discuss with my supervisor
aspects of the work I am doing with you - but your name will never be
disclosed nor any other identifying information.

Who am I? What issues could you bring to me?
Why have counselling? What style of counselling
do I offer?
How to contact me, how much does counselling cost
and information about a first session.
What do I offer in terms of confidentiality? What
professional organisations do I belong to? What supervision am I
subject to?
